One of my fondest memories
is reading my daughters bedtime stories like Snuggle Piggy and the Magic Blanket when they were young. I loved bringing those words to life. But I discovered my passion for the art of storytelling long before that, in my school days. Whether it was reading the local news on cable station, LISD TV in Adrian Mi, or engaging listeners on campus radio stations, WIDR and WERC. I used my voice to turn words on a page into actual stories that connected and made people feel something.

As an author
I put words into form before they're even spoken. My book Over Easy Conversations is chock-full of live radio interviews I've done with hundreds of musicians like Dave Mason of Traffic, Dan Fogelberg, and Kathi McDonald, backup singer for the Rolling Stones and more. I also co-authored the historical cookbook Breaking Bread with my 6 sisters.
